Titwala Engineering Students Organise Anti-Drug Rally to Railway Station

Students and staff of the Imperial College of Engineering in Ghotosai, Titwala, took to the streets in an anti-drug awareness rally aimed at sensitising the public to the dangers of substance abuse.

Organised by the college under the guidance of Principal Dr Pankaj Vispute, the campaign began at the college campus and saw participation from a large number of students, teachers, and non-teaching staff. Carrying placards bearing anti-addiction messages and chanting slogans, the participants marched through the locality towards Titwala railway station.

Police Sub-Inspector Vishal Saurge attended the event as the chief guest and addressed the gathering. Saurge warned that drug addiction represents a severe threat to young people, urging students to stay away from narcotics and encourage family and friends to adopt drug-free lifestyles.

The march concluded at Titwala railway station, where students took a collective pledge to reject substance abuse and promote healthy living under the banner slogan, "Reject drugs, embrace life."
