Cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma have expanded their real estate holdings in Mumbai by purchasing a 2,644 square foot luxury apartment in Versova, Andheri West, for a total sum of ₹18.29 crore. The major real estate deal was officially registered on July 21, 2026. This newly acquired home stands as the power couple's second property in Mumbai, adding to their existing sea-facing residence located in Worli.

The luxury apartment is situated on a higher floor of the Godrej Skyshore building in the Versova area of Andheri West. In addition to the main 2,644 square feet carpet area, the property comes equipped with an additional 316 square feet of exclusive area as well as three dedicated car parking spaces for the residents.

Official details regarding the real estate purchase were made available through property registration documents accessed by Zapkey.com. According to the registration records, the transaction required a stamp duty payment of ₹1.09 crore in addition to registration fees totaling ₹30,000. When calculated using the final deal value of ₹18.29 crore and the carpet area, the property was bought at a rate of approximately ₹69,159 per square foot.

The deal highlights the ongoing high demand for luxury properties and premium residential units situated in Mumbai's western suburbs. It also represents a major addition to the couple's real estate assets within the city, following their earlier acquisition of a sea-facing house in the Worli neighbourhood.

Despite adding to their Mumbai property portfolio, Kohli and Sharma have set their main base in London, having opted to stay away from the intense media spotlight in India to raise their children in the United Kingdom. However, because of their various work commitments, the couple frequently travels back and forth and spends a large amount of time residing in India.

Kohli remains active in professional cricket, competing in both the Indian Premier League (IPL) and in One Day International (ODI) matches. The cricketer was last seen on the pitch during the recent tour of England, where he delivered strong performances by scoring half-centuries in two out of the three games played during the series.
