BMC Inaugurates Six-Storey Municipal School Complex in Ghatkopar East

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) inaugurated a new state-of-the-art municipal school complex at Tilak Marg in Ghatkopar East on Sunday, creating modern educational infrastructure set to benefit 789 students.

The ground-plus-six-storey educational facility was officially opened in the presence of Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde and local Member of Legislative Assembly Parag Shah. The opening event was attended by civic officials, elected representatives, students, parents, and local residents.

The newly constructed complex contains 38 standard classrooms, 25 smaller rooms, an auditorium, and 14 other dedicated facility rooms. Civic authorities planned the structure to deliver modern, technology-enabled, and inclusive learning environments for enrolled pupils.

In addition to the primary and secondary infrastructure, the municipal body is introducing a new English-medium kindergarten within the facility to serve younger children in the neighbourhood.
