Daisy Shah Slams Election Campaigners After Fire Breaks Out Near Her Bandra East Flat

A fire broke out in a residential house in the Bandra East area of Mumbai, prompting actress Daisy Shah to strongly criticize political campaigners for their lack of civic sense and safety awareness. The incident, which occurred at night, took place while the actress was walking her dogs near her residence.
Following the incident, Shah shared a video of the scene on her Instagram account to condemn the actions of the campaigners. She alleged that the fire was caused by the reckless bursting of firecrackers near residential buildings during an ongoing election campaign.
Expressing her anger, Shah emphasized that she had no personal affiliation with any political party. However, she urged political leaders and organizations to ensure that the teams they hire to run election campaigns possess basic common sense and civic responsibility.
In her social media post, Shah stated: "I have got nothing to do with any political party!!! But when u hire teams to run campaigns for your elections please make sure they have some common sense in them. Thank fully our building committee refused their entry to go door to door. Bursting crackers next to the buildings is not the way to go about it. This is what happens when people lack civic sense. It ain’t a natural calamity it’s caused by brainless people. TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY … ITS HIGH TIME."
The actress also highlighted that her residential building's committee had previously refused to allow the campaigners to go door-to-door. Shah praised this decision, stating that the subsequent fire justified the committee's refusal to grant them entry.
Shah strongly condemned the use of fireworks in close proximity to residential complexes, describing it as a dangerous and careless act that put the lives of local residents at risk. She called on those responsible to take immediate accountability for the safety hazards caused during their campaigning.
