Eknath Shinde Distributes Marathi Certificates to Auto and Taxi Drivers in Borivali

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde distributed certificates to autorickshaw and taxi drivers who completed their Marathi language proficiency course during an event held in Borivali in North Mumbai on Wednesday.

Addressing a gathering of autorickshaw drivers in the Borivali locality, Shinde stated that basic knowledge of Marathi helps in daily communication and business operations. He noted that the autorickshaw operators cooperated with the initiative and learnt the language out of their love for Maharashtra's primary language.

Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik was also noted regarding the training initiative, stating that drivers will be given up to four months to complete their Marathi language training.
