Emraan Hashmi Wraps Shoot For Awarapan 2 Ahead Of August 14 Release

The principal photography for the upcoming romantic-thriller 'Awarapan 2', starring actor Emraan Hashmi, has officially concluded in Andheri. Production banner Vishesh Films announced on Thursday, June 5, 2026, that the filming phase of the highly anticipated movie has been completed, paving the way for the project to enter its post-production stage. The film is confirmed to hit theatres later this year on August 14.

The sequel sees Emraan Hashmi reprising his iconic character of Shivam from the original 2007 film. Joining Hashmi in the lead cast is co-star Disha Patani, who also completed her filming schedule for the movie. The production team confirmed that with the wrap of the shoot, the film is now fully ready to begin its post-production work.

The film is directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Vishesh Bhatt. The screenplay and story for 'Awarapan 2' have been penned by writer Bilal Siddiqui.

To celebrate the successful completion of the shoot, the production banner Vishesh Films shared an official update.
