FWICE Prepares Response to Ranveer Singh's Legal Notice Over Don 3 Dispute

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) is preparing to respond to a legal notice sent by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. The legal confrontation arises from an ongoing dispute and a non-cooperation directive issued by the workers' union in relation to the upcoming movie 'Don 3', a development that has sent ripples through the film community in Bandra.
The conflict represents a significant escalation in the professional relationship between the high-profile actor and the film industry's workers' union. The dispute, which centers on the non-cooperation directive, threatens to disrupt and potentially impact the production of 'Don 3'.
In response to the legal notice sent by Ranveer Singh, FWICE officials have clarified their position. BN Tiwari of the FWICE spoke out regarding the union's intentions behind the directive. Tiwari stated that the union's actions were not motivated by personal animosity, remarking, "we never wanted to pull down a superstar."
However, the union's decision to issue a non-cooperation directive has faced pushback from other industry figures. Nikhil Dwivedi questioned the union's heavy-handed approach in the 'Don 3' dispute. Dwivedi expressed strong reservations about the union's directive against Ranveer Singh, arguing that such measures unfairly target individuals. Dwivedi stated, "you cannot stop someone's livelihood," highlighting the professional toll such directives can take on those involved in film production.
The ongoing dispute and the subsequent legal notice from Ranveer Singh mark a critical juncture for the production of 'Don 3'. With FWICE currently preparing its formal response to the legal notice, the resolution of this conflict remains pending. Industry observers in Bandra and the wider Mumbai film circle are closely watching how the legal exchange will affect the film's timeline and the broader relationship between actors and union representatives.
