IRCTC Shuts Bandra Terminus Catering Unit for Renovation and Quality Upgrades

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has ordered the temporary closure of catering facilities at Bandra Terminus in Mumbai to carry out renovation and necessary upgrades.

According to an official statement, the move is part of IRCTC's ongoing efforts to enhance food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and passenger services at railway catering establishments.

The action follows inspections conducted by IRCTC Chairman and Managing Director Rahul Himalian.

Along with the catering unit at Bandra Terminus, the corporation has also ordered the temporary closure of a Food Plaza in Ahmedabad for similar upgrades.
