Landslide Hits Ghodbunder Road in Bhayandarpada, No Injuries Reported

A landslide struck a stretch of the busy Ghodbunder Road in Thane on Monday evening, causing soil and heavy stones to crash onto the roadside adjacent to a residential complex in the Bhayandarpada area.

According to officials from Thane's Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC), a large quantity of soil and heavy stones collapsed onto the public road margin. Despite the impact, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

Emergency response teams moved swiftly to manage the situation, clearing the accumulated debris from the roadside. Authorities confirmed that the prompt clearance ensured traffic movement along Ghodbunder Road remained unaffected following the collapse.

Officials stated on Tuesday that the area was brought under control after the debris was removed from the road margin near the residential complex.
