Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Meets PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday to hold detailed discussions on multiple key issues, including major development projects underway across the state.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister briefed Prime Minister Modi on the status of various development projects in Maharashtra and discussed the implementation of schemes being executed in coordination with the Central Government.
Following the discussion, Fadnavis took to his official X account to share updates and photographs from the interaction in New Delhi. The pictures showed both leaders engaged in discussions concerning key state projects and broader development matters.
“As always, his meeting proves to be one that infuses new energy. I am deeply grateful to him for his invaluable guidance on development issues and for his strong support to Maharashtra!” Fadnavis stated in his post.
The high-level meeting is part of a series of recent engagements between Maharashtra's leadership and the Union government. Earlier this month, Shiv Sena chief and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also met Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi. That meeting, which took place in Parliament, focused primarily on the flood situation in Maharashtra and the state's ongoing relief and rehabilitation measures. The session was reportedly the first meeting between Shinde and Modi following recent student protests led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).
Around the same period, Prime Minister Modi held a meeting with six Shiv Sena Members of Parliament who had recently joined the Shinde-led faction from the Shiv Sena (UBT). The discussions during this meeting focused on constituency-level development issues.
The MPs who met the Prime Minister included Shrikant Shinde, Naresh Mhaske, Nagesh Patil Ashtikar, Omraje Nimbalkar, and Sanjay Dina Patil. During their interaction, Prime Minister Modi assured the visiting MPs that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) operates as “one family” and reiterated his ongoing support for all partners within the alliance.
