Ravi Kishan Praises Madhuri Dixit's Calm Demeanor on 'Maa Behen' Set

In an interaction on June 4, 2026, actor Ravi Kishan shared behind-the-scenes insights about working with co-star Madhuri Dixit on their upcoming film 'Maa Behen', praising her calm demeanor and professionalism on set.
Kishan admitted that several of his scenes with Dixit in the film were emotionally intense, noting that he had never played a role quite like this before. He also stated that Dixit's character in 'Maa Behen' is unlike any role she has previously portrayed on screen.
Speaking to NDTV, Kishan highlighted Dixit's unshakeable composure during filming, regardless of the conditions. He remarked that he had never seen her throw tantrums, whether it was muddy or raining too much or too little. Kishan added that Dixit remained peacefully happy even when lights went out, or when rehearsals were delayed because he arrived late.
According to Kishan, Dixit remained completely unbothered even when he said extra lines during rehearsals, choosing instead to smile. He described her as having built a beautiful world of her own where she stays absorbed, remaining calm and smiling even if there is a storm or a fire.
Kishan also recalled a striking incident from a jewellery store inauguration in Gorakhpur where both actors served as brand ambassadors. The event drew massive crowds, with fans climbing trees and walls to catch a glimpse of Dixit. While Kishan felt anxious about her security and comfort, he noted that Dixit was completely unfazed and smiled calmly throughout the chaotic event.
'Maa Behen', directed by Suresh Triveni, focuses on a mother and her two daughters, Rekha, Jaya, and Sushma, who are controversial figures in their conservative neighbourhood. The plot follows the trio as they discover a dead body in their kitchen and scramble to cover up the crime. The film, which stars Dixit alongside Triptii Dimri, Dharna Durga, Geetanjali Kulkarni, and Arunoday Singh, will stream on Netflix.
