34-Year-Old Advocate Killed in Malad West Road Crash, Injured Husband Attends Funeral

A 34-year-old woman lost her life in a road crash in Malad West on Sunday evening, while her injured husband was brought home from the hospital in a wheelchair on Monday to pay his final respects before her funeral.

The deceased has been identified as Priyanka Satra, a 34-year-old advocate residing in Malad. Her husband, Mayank Satra, 34, who operates an imitation jewellery business, sustained serious injuries in the collision.

On Monday, Mayank was discharged temporarily from medical care and arrived in a wheelchair to see his wife one last time before her funeral procession departed. Relatives and mourners gathered outside the Malad Shamshan Bhumi as the final rites were conducted.

The couple are survived by their two children, an eight-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son.
