Anna Hazare Admitted to Bombay Hospital in South Mumbai for Viral Infection

Social activist Anna Hazare has been admitted to Bombay Hospital in south Mumbai for the treatment of a viral infection and acute dehydration, his aide confirmed on Tuesday.
The 89-year-old activist was transferred to the south Mumbai facility on Monday from Ahilyanagar district, where he had earlier been admitted to a local hospital for initial medical care.
Medical teams at Bombay Hospital are currently conducting a detailed evaluation of Hazare's condition to determine the appropriate next course of treatment, according to his aide.
