BMC Chief Ashwini Bhide Inspects Footpaths Across A, B, C, D and E Wards

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Ashwini Bhide on Monday inspected footpaths and pedestrian facilities across several locations in the Mumbai City division, covering areas in the D, E, B, C, and A wards.
The three-hour inspection was conducted as part of the civic body's ongoing Pedestrian First campaign.
According to the BMC, the exercise focused on identifying pedestrian obstructions, reviewing the overall condition of footpaths, and checking ongoing repair and improvement works across the visited areas.
During the inspection, Bhide also personally checked the licences of authorised hawkers operating on the footpaths and directed officials to take action to clear obstacles affecting pedestrians.
