Panvel Civic Body Clears Footpaths in Taloja Anti-Encroachment Drive

The Panvel Municipal Corporation carried out an anti-encroachment drive in Taloja Phase 1 on Monday, targeting illegal structures and businesses occupying public footpaths.

The enforcement action was conducted in the Sector 10 and Sector 11 areas by the civic body's dedicated anti-encroachment team to reclaim pedestrian spaces.

During the drive, civic officials seized eight handcarts and four weighing scales that had been placed illegally on the footpaths for commercial activities.

According to civic officials, the targeted items and unauthorised setups were obstructing pedestrian movement in the locality, prompting the municipal authorities to clear the pathways.
